Tarina Tarantino

In the early nineties Tarina was working as a fashion model in Europe and after spent long days in castings or bookings. In the evenings she would make jewellery from beads & crystals found in Parisien flea markets & antique shops. She regularly wore her pieces to shoots and was always being asked to sell them to those that saw them.
Returning to the States brought about a change in career, and instead of being in front of the camera she started work as a make up artist and was immediately happier in her work. It was during this time that she met Alfonso, who as an artist was not just a soul mate but a creative match for Tarina.
When Tarina wanted to buy some fancy & sparkly hairclips and couldn't find any - she made her own. She would sell her pieces from her hair as she wore them in the streets. Alfonso thought that he should take her designs to the marketplace, and having made some beautiful boxes to show them in came home with a clutch of orders.
In 1998, People magazine did a profile story on their business and very soon Tarina and her designs were appearing in every major fashion magazine and many TV shows and today is worn by just about every female celebrity in Hollywood.

Tarina Tarantino & Alfonso Campos were married in October 1999. They now have two 'sparkling' daughters called Chloe & Olivia. They design & operate from their studio in downtown Los Angeles, USA.
